Day 1: Bagdogra Airport to Gangtok
Once you arrive at the railway station or the airport, you will be received by a member of team Ultra Light who will assist you to board your vehicle to Gangtok. Upon arrival, you can proceed to check into the hotel. You can relax in the evening.
Day 2: Gangtok to Tsomgo Lake Excursion
After breakfast at the hotel, you will proceed for a full day excursion to Tsomgo Lake. You can spend a few blissful hours gazing at the absolute perfection of natural beauty at the Tsomgo Lake and its surrounding scenic view. A short drive further will take you to the holy Baba Mandir. You will then be returned to Gangtok.
Day 3: Gangtok to Darjeeling
After breakfast you can proceed to Darjeeling. Once you get to Darjeeling you can check in to the hotel. The evening is free for relaxation or self activities.
Day 4: Darjeeling - Sunrise & City Tour
Early morning drive at around 3:45 am to Tiger Hill to view sunrise over Kanchenjunga Peak. Ghoom Monastery, Peace memorial & Batasia Loop can be visited on the way back. After breakfast, you can proceed onto city tour that includes the Himalayan Mountaineering Institute breakfast, Padmaja Naidu Zoological Park, Tibetan Refugee Self Help Centre, Ropeway, Tensing Gumpo Rock, Tea Estate, Natural History Museum and Peace Pagoda. The evenings are free for recreational activities around the town.
Day 5: Darjeeling - Siliguri
After breakfast, transfer to Siliguri onto the Bagdogra airport or to the NJP railway station for your journey onward.
